Every tree has its own address
The number on the home page is a claim. A point on the map with a date and a photo is something you can check, by going to that address and taking a look.
The map is filling up
Past actions are being entered into the records, so they will show up here with the exact place, number of trees and photos. Until then, come to the next one.

A point is a place, not an estimate
The coordinates are recorded on the ground, on the day of planting. If something looks off to you, go out and check, then let us know if we got it wrong.
We count what is planted, not what survives
The number by a point is how many seedlings were put in the ground. How many took hold only shows after the second year and is added later.
Why there is no separate entry for each tree
The unit is the action, because several seedlings are planted at one place on the same day. A record for each individual tree would be more accurate on paper, but unworkable in practice.
