Report pollution

If you see an illegal dump in your area, someone tossing a bag out of a car, or logging without a marker, snap a photo and send it to us. Reports with a photo we forward to the utility inspection and the local municipality, and we record repeat cases at the same location and use them when we push for a lasting fix.

Safety first. Do not approach, do not get into an argument, and do not film from a moving vehicle. A photo from a distance is quite enough. If the situation is dangerous or ongoing, call 192, and for a fire call 193.

Without a photo a report carries no weight. If you are reporting dumping from a vehicle, the license plate must be clearly visible, so shoot from the rear and get as close as is safe, or use zoom.

Take or choose photosup to five, at most 8 MB per photo

If you allow publication below, the photo goes on the site right away, without our review. So make sure it does not show anyone's face or a house number. Feel free to photograph the license plate, we never publish it publicly, we use it only for the report to the authorities.
